You are a leader—whether you are considering leading a Life Group, starting a new group, or taking over an existing group. Maybe you lead at home, work, or in your community. At Forest Hill, we recognize the impact leaders have in helping people next their next step in their relationship with Jesus. We value you and God’s work through you. That’s why we created material to develop you as a leader for wherever God has given you influence.
Leader Development Topics
We identified four leader development topics on the Leadership Pathway that cover a wide-ranging scope of information. Each topic reflects on one of the Five Marks of a Disciple. These leader development topics below will be discussed with you by discipleship staff and coaches as groups start.

Structure
Each of the four topics are structured in the following way:

Introduction: Brief overview of the topic

Life Group Goal: An explanation of how each topic achieves one of the Five Marks of a Disciple

The Character of Christ / Questions: Character provides the ability to exercise leadership. Each topic will highlight a character attribute and an example of Jesus demonstrating it in scripture, followed by questions.

Leader Development / Reflection: We’ll delve into each topic and offer reflection questions to help with applicable takeaways from the content.
